Every now and then I get really excited about what some of the mega giant retailers are doing! As a marketer for way too many years to mention right now, I spend a lot of my days reading and researching the best ways to execute marketing strategy and who out there is doing it the best.  Well, if you didn’t already know Amazon is one of the most successful online businesses in the entire world.  I reference their e-commerce tactics often when speaking to clients about best practices and companies to emulate.  First and foremost, does anyone remember when Amazon’s primary product was a book?  I do! Amazon has since expanded from only books to a variety of products and have become a destination for so many online shoppers.

3. Content-Content-Content: Amazon is, of course, a mega store so they have way more pages of content than any independent seller will.  The main point is that the more pages of content you create your products and services the more your site will be indexed by search engines.
